Peter is one of the founding members of Broadway Radiology which was set up in 1997.

He has worked at Palmerston North Hospital since 1990, and was a partner in Mercy Radiology, the principal Radiology practice in the area for many years, under the directorship of Dr Lauretta Tan.

Peter was born and educated in England and obtained his medical degree at King’s College Hospital in London.  He first worked in New Zealand as a House Surgeon and then as Surgical Registrar at Waikato Hospital.  He returned to England to complete his FRCS in 1984, and then entered the Oxford Radiology training scheme.  He gained extensive experience in the radiology subspecialities, and developed his interest in interventional and vascular radiology.

Duncan has been with Broadway Radiology since its inception in 1998. Together with Dr Peter Dixon, Duncan planted the roots of private medical imaging in the Manawatu with Palmerston North X-Ray, which has since become Broadway Radiology.

Duncan shared Dr Peter Dixon’s vision for providing exceptional private medical imaging to the health providers and people in the region and has led the strategic development of the business to where it is today.  He has overseen the building at 175 Grey Street, and the creation of City Health X-Ray at City Doctors, Horowhenua Radiology in Levin, and Feilding X-Ray and Ultrasound at the Feilding Health Centre.

His role of General Manager is a challenging but exciting one. The continuous advancement of medical technology and health management practices means it is constantly changing, requiring the implementation of new initiatives and clinical practices.

Leigh has been with Broadway Radiology sinces its inception and as the Clincial Services Manager is a highly regarded member of the managment team.

Before joining Broadway Radiology in 1998, Leigh gained her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Canterbury and with a keen interest in health, then went on to gain extensive experience working in radiology practices in Australia and New Zealand. 

Responsible for the management of Ultrasound, CT, X-ray, Bone Densitometry and Mammography services, Leigh's key functions are ensuring all services are delivered within a tight framework of exceptional quality, safety and technical competence.

Continous improvement is a focal point to Leigh's role and with her extensive understanding of the radiology industry and armed with a big picture view - she is pivotal to developing the business and growing the team she works alongside daily, ensuring our patients are provided with an exceptional level of care thoughout their lives. 

Hannelize completed her Bachelor degree in Radiography and a Diploma in Tertiary Education in South-Africa where she worked in several hospitals and radiology practices. She went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Health Science through Sydney University.  She has worked in New Zealand since 1997 and joined Broadway Radiology in 2000 where she has worked with a number of long standing staff members over the years. Hannelize is proud to be part of a Management team that is committed to continuing education and providing staff with the best equipment and expertise to do their jobs.

Hannelize manages Broadway Radiology's MRI team and leads her team of MRI Technologists with extensive knowledge and experience.

She is passionate about being part of a clinical pathway that ensures patients receive the best care and highest quality imaging, allowing for more accurate diagnosis by our onsite Radiologists and referring health professionals.
